I am a strong believer in giving back to the communities in which we live. Below are a few of the organizations where I currently volunteer.

I encourage you to take a peek and get involved!

The Table

The Table accepts donations of all kinds at at the First Presbyterian Church Office at 1333 3rd St. in downtown Napa (across from the Uptown Theater) between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.

The Table is a 31 year old organization that serves a hot, nutritious meal every weekday to anyone who’s hungry. Whether you‘ve gathered an abundance of fruit or produce from your garden, have recently done a pantry purge, own a bakery or other shop with extra product leftover that day, are a florist with beautiful flowers you don’t want to dispose of after a beautiful event - The Table welcomes all of it!

Groups make every effort to cook their meal from scratch, so they rely on donations from people like you! You can also join a team if you’re interested in volunteering your time.

Napa NEWS

NEWS was formed in 1981 when a group of community members realized there was no safe place for women and children to go when they were fleeing abuse at home. Their founders worked in partnership with local leaders to acquire a house where women and children could find safety and support, and begin the process of rebuilding their lives.

Today NEWS has grown into a strong organization with a dedicated group of staff and volunteer domestic violence and sexual assault counselors, providing direct client services as well as shelter 24 hours a day/7 days a week, to approximately 1200 people each year. They work on prevention through education and outreach programs.
